Show #424 - Rachel Hill's Two Easy Marketing Tools for Big Results

Podcast Number 424
SHOW NOTES

In previous episodes, we've talked about marketing tools such as Facebook, YouTube videos, and Instagram. You can feel like a small fish in a big pond in these marketing venues. You throw your message out there and you hope someone sees it and they engage with you to the extent they get to know you, like you, build trust, and eventually become your client. Or, if they are your client, you hope they see your message.

Rachel Hill, our guest on this month's show, is a travel marketing strategist and a social media influencer who generously shares some of her expertise. Rachel describes two marketing tools that are inexpensive, easy to use, and will engage your clients on a personal level. Chances are very good, with the use of these tools, that your clients will see your message. In addition, as a marketing strategist, Rachel gives us some strategies that you can use, with or without these easy tools, to communicate your expertise and build your brand.

Considering Your Client's Special Needs plus Backing Up Your Computer Files

Podcast Number One-hundred-seven

Being aware of your client's needs and preferences is an essential part of being a travel agent. Lorene and Barry talk about some of the special needs your clients may have and how to accommodate those needs. A good "Client Profile Sheet" is essential in determining what your client prefers and needs when they travel.

Barry talks about backing up the important data on your computer. Your hard drive is going to crash. It's not a question of if, but a question of when it crashes. Is your data backed up and is it in a safe place? Learn about Amazons S3 service and how it will help you keep those important files.
