How To Start a Home Based Travel Business Part 6 - IATA Numbers, What Are They?

Podcast Number Sixty-three

Lorene Romero joins the podcast from her ocean view room in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Lorene discusses her trip to Key West.

In segment six of the how to start your home travel business, I discuss the International Airline Travel Agent Network (IATAN) numbers and numbers that are similar to the IATAN number and registered with IATAN. These numbers are your "seller of travel" numbers and they identify you to travel suppliers as a legitimate travel professional. I discuss how you can get your own seller of travel number. The various organziations that can issue you a seller of travel number are:

International Airline Travel Agent Network (IATAN)

Cruise Line International Organization (CLIA)

Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN)

National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents (NACTA)
