| The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and their Sister organization the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) have rebranded themselves with the goal of creating one organization. According to our guest Lynda Phillippi the change is combining the best of both organizations for the benefit of travel advisors. In this Show, Lynda speaks globally about the world of travel advisors and how the travel advisor benefits from the merging of these two great organizations. During the course of the interview, Lynda said that the term travel agent carries the connotation of an order taker, like the travel agent of past. The preferred term today is travel advisors. Listen to today's Show to learn more about the changing world of the travel trade. |
