149 - Turning a Disability into an Ability - A Blind Travel Agent Tells You How
Permalink
Having a disability can give you ability as a travel agent. Gary and Jackie Metzler join Lorene and I and talk about Gary's blindness and the travel business. Gary and Jackie, with their company Outta Sight Travel, specialize in helping blind people travel as tourists and experience the wonderful tastes, sounds, smells and feel of new destinations. Gary talks about his experiences as a tourist and as a cruise ship passenger. Gary and Jackie have consulted with cruise lines to help cruise lines become accessible to people who are blind or vision impaired. This is an interesting show where you can learn about travel and the travel business from a whole new perspective.
